Feira Farta - Local/endogenous products market

The fair takes place in Largo do Mercado Municipal (Municipal Market Square), with the involvement of the municipality's 43 parishes and around 200 producers with more than 400 endogenous products. In order to revive some of the traditional activities which used to take place in markets and villages, a number of street vendors are involved, such as the scissors litterer, the lupin seller, the icecream vendor, the shoe shiner, the blacksmith and the barber. The event takes place at the beginning of September.
