Artistic Itinerary of the City of Guarda

The International Symposium on Contemporary Art (Simpósio Internacional de Arte Contemporânea -SIAC) has been promoted each year since 2016 by the City Council of Guarda, through its Museum in partnership with the University of Salamanca. Its main goal is to promote artistic expression, combining the city's rich heritage with the creativity of urban art, resulting in added value for those who visit us. The Symposium, which brings together cultural units from the Iberian Peninsula, aims to contemplate several expressive approaches to Contemporary Art, including painting, sculpture and serigraphy.
