The itinerary, which is around 9 km long, follows part of the path of the Guarda External Way (VICEG), between Lameirinhas and interconnecting other neighbourhoods within the city, past the Hospital, the Guarda Industrial Complex and ending at the Railway Station. The edestrian and cycle lane in Guarda aims to enhance pedestrian mobility and also allows cycling. This is a pioneering project within the scope of the Strategic Urban Development Plan (PEDU) and the PO Centre 2020.
