Religious Patrimony: Porto da Carne parish church (Igreja de São Pedro). The festivities in honour of the patron saint (São Pedro de Verona) are held on the last weekend of April.Main Points of Interest: Porto da Carne picnic park, the Calvario square and diving fountains.This parish pays homage to the establishment of its Coat of Arms, by holding a celebration where all inhabitants can enjoy a sardine feast offered by the parish council. It used to belong to the municipality of Celorico da Beira but in 1852 it became part of the municipality of Guarda.The parish of Porto da Carne has Quinta do Amial as an adjoining area.
