Being the main and most visible prehistoric monument of the county, this dolmen dates back to the transition period from the 4th to the 3rd millennium BC, when large individual funeral monuments were built. It consists of a chamber defined by five vertical pillars that support a roofing slab, originally being the whole set hidden by lands and stones, forming a kind of symbolic or votive hill. Polygonal chamber consisting of five trapezoidal pillars inclined towards the middle, without a corridor; there are two openings and the north pillar is fragmented; its top is oval-shaped with a diameter of approximately 2,5 mt standing in three pillars about 2 mt high and 1 mt wide; the south pillar has the narrowest part turned upside down, while the opposite happens with the rest of the pillars; there are no remains of mamoa (the original name given by the romans to stone oval and round monuments).
