Heritage: In addition to the beauty of its natural surroundings, where the extensive areas of rocky outcrops stand out, whose centrepiece is the Cruzeiro belvedere, the parish of Arrifana is very diverse in terms of its natural and architectural heritage. As regards its edified heritage, in addition to the Arrifana Parish Church, we would highlight the Nossa Senhora da Guia Chapel, the São Brás Chapel, the Santo Amaro Chapel and the Outeiro de São Miguel Church. The parish is also recognised for its crosses, community ovens, fountains and a Museum House.Main Sites of Interest: Arrifana, Casas da Ribeira, João Bragal de Cima and João Bravo are the villages which are part of the parish, but there are also many other places such as Outeiro de São Miguel and some farms with quite significant representation.Organisations: There have been numerous organisations in this parish for a long time and there are currently the following: União Social Desportiva e Cultural de Arrifana; Grupo de Cantares da Arrifana; Os Amigos da Arrifana - Liga de Solidariedade Social e Melhoramentos; Liga dos Servos de Jesus and the União de Jovens Arrifanenses. The parish of Arrifana has always been characterised by significant social, recreational and cultural dynamics. The lack of local facilities and different public services, combined with the spirit of association, has led to the creation of a number of organisations designed to overcome these problems and to set up a range of events that have made the parish more dynamic over the years, mainly using its own resources. All the different organisations created in the parish have their own missions, but the common purpose is to promote the parish, its inhabitants, its customs, traditions and patrimony. This unity between the different groups is evident in the multiple activities carried out and where everyone collaborates with others, which perfectly demonstrates the spirit of solidarity and support.
