Located next to the old road from Guarda to the Mondego Valley, near the medieval city, in the suburb of Porta d’el Rei, the ensemble – which comprises Chafariz da Dorna, the small border circular tank (water “dispenser” for animals) and a small clothes washing tank – was a “service station” to support travellers.
