Day 1
1 Museu da Castanha em Aldeia do Bispo (Chestnut Museum)
In this museum there is a permanent exhibition dedicated to the Cycle of the Chestnut. This space can also feature temporary exhibitions.

2Casa Museu José Antunes Pissarra in Arrifana (House Museum)
The collection of exposed pieces, all collected in the parish, represents the arts and crafts developed over time.

3 Casa Museu de São Pedro de Jarmelo (House Museum)
Casa Museu exposes agricultural tools, as well as diverse archaeological remains.

4 Verdugal knives
This art preserves ancient secrets, the municipality of Guarda has a prominent place in the cutlery tradition.


Day 2
5 Mondego Walkways
A 12-kilometre itinerary along the Mondego River shores and its many tributaries, the trail begins near the “Caldeirão” Dam and goes through Pêro Soares, Mizarela, Vila Soeiro, Trinta and Videmonte.

6 Museu da Coruja na Corujeira (Owl Museum in Corujeira)
There are about 1000 samples of owl replicas, in various materials and sizes, from around the world.

7 Museu de Tecelagem dos Meios (Weaving Museum of Meios)
The Weaving Museum of the Means should be understood as a weaving workshop, since all the looms of the old factory are functional and producing. This equipment is exposed in an old "papa" blankets factory, founded in 1954.

8 Community oven
During festive seasons the ovens are used to make the "folar" and cookies and to roast kid/goat.

9 Basketry
The art of basketry in our county remains an indispensable activity in the rural and domestic life of our people.
