The parish has a wide range of cultural heritage such as the dolmen, dating back to the 4th century BC and the 500-year-old giant chestnut tree of Guilhafonso, the largest specimen of its kind in Europe. The parish is also known for the high quality of its cutlery. Verdugal knives are made in this very same location.One of the parish's main buildings is the ‘Casa do Moço’, which has been requalified. The story goes that the parish was born here. The remodelling of this building intends to promote coworking, associative activities and the addition of a museological centre.Religious Patrimony: Pêra do Moço main church (Church of São João Batista).There are community ovens in the neighbouring areas.
