This trail follows a circular route of easy difficulty. It covers a distance of 11 km and takes approximately 4 hours to be completed.

It's a circular trail which begins at Largo da Lameira in the center of the village of Pera do Moço and includes the villages of Verdugal and Guilhafonso. Here, hills of broom are predominant, along with small stands of wild pines, black oaks and chestnut trees, which become more and more frequent as you descend into the valley. This area is the habitat of a diverse community of bird species, including the bee-eater, the house sparrow, the blackcap, the puffin and the turtle-dove. The black starling and the chimney swallow are regular tenants in the villages. Among the mammals, foxes, wild rabbits and hares can be observed, often in broad daylight. Almost at the end of the trail you can visit the Pera do Moço Dolmen, the main and most visible prehistoric monument in the municipality.
