Gothic stone door that displays distinct intra and extra dorsal profiles; in the first one one can observe a perfect round arc with irregular staves and, in its corresponding, a pointed arc, with traces of having originally been wider, also a round arc. It was one of the oldest entrances to the castle. This building has inspired writers and painters, such as Vergílio Ferreira and Eduardo Lapa.
