A touristic tour along the National Road 221 (EN 221) which connects the cities of Miranda do Douro and Guarda, between Douro Superior (Upper Douro) and Beira Interior (Inland) over a distance of approximately 184 kilometers.
The tourist route includes the six municipalities of Miranda do Douro [where the kilometer 0 marker is located], Mogadouro and Freixo de Espada à Cinta, in the district of Bragança, and Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo, Pinhel and Guarda, in the district of Guarda, with an extension of around 184 kilometers. Also includes a Historical Village and three Wine Regions. This route was launched in 2021 by Clube Escape Livre (a club dedicated to touristic trips, among other activities) with the support of SEAT and the Historical Villages.
